Danny Fellingham is a recently retired Special Forces Medic, serving over 20 years as an 18D and NREMT paramedic.
Retiring as a SGM with 19th SFG (A).
Danny has worked overseas and domestically as a tactical medic, working on hundreds of casualties.
Danny currently works as a police officer and maintains current NREMT paramedic certs.
Course will cover classes in bag packing and equipment tips, pain management, cricothyroidotomy, needle decompression, junctional wounds and SAM junctional tourniquet, best practice patient carries, and the lethal diamond.
Scenarios include: Care under fire with medics assigned weapon, and MARCH sequence out of the bag the medic uses.
Training will begin with a full day of instruction, and demonstrations. The following days will consist of multiple trauma runs from all students in multiple realistic trauma scenarios. Students will participate as primary medic, assistant medic, casualty, and peer advisor.
Almost all procedures will be done on moulaged casualty; we train to a high standard.
Skills such as IO, Cric, and Intubations will be on a skill trainer.
All standards of care will remain at the highest levels.
*Any unsafe medical practices will be immediately halted by the instructor.*
All Training will be conducted in full mission profile (full kit carried on a hostage rescue mission).
Training can incorporate use of vehicles, UTM or live fire ranges, NVGs, drones, or training areas that are available to the medics department.
The training goal is to run a realistic training scenario that translates to real world casualties.
Plan on using issued equipment and resources so we can build scenarios for you that best meet your operational environments.
